Johnstown Insider – Weekend Events April 2-5, 2026

Spring is here, and the weekend is packed with Easter events, family activities, live music, and plenty of ways to get out and enjoy the community. From egg hunts and pancake breakfasts with the Bunny to art exhibits, dancing, and Tomahawks hockey, there’s something happening from morning through late night across Johnstown and the surrounding area. Whether you’re planning a family outing or a night out, here’s your guide to what’s going on this weekend.

The Discover Downtown Johnstown Partnership hosted its annual Bunny Hop this past Saturday at the Cambria County Library parking lot, with local businesses and volunteers handing out treats and organizing activities for kids.

7:00 PM - Ballroom Basics 2 - Log Art Dance (Community Arts Center, Johnstown) - Intermediate ballroom class building on Basics 1 with expanded dance styles.

10:30 AM - 3rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt (495 West Patriot Street, Somerset) - Family-friendly egg hunt with Easter Bunny, games, and refreshments.

4:00 PM - 1st Friday - Fish Fry and a Movie (The Way Church, Johnstown) - Fish fry dinner followed by a free movie for the community.

7:00 PM - Leah Friedoff at Asiago's Tuscan Italian (Asiago's Tuscan Italian, Johnstown) - Live acoustic music paired with cocktails and scratch-made Italian dishes.

8:00 AM - 2026 Farmstand Opening! (Bread of Life Farmstand, Somerset) - Opening day with fresh baked goods and seasonal farmstand items.

10:00 AM - Spring Holiday Hunt (Heritage Discovery Center, Johnstown) - Easter and Passover-themed hunt with crafts, treats, and family activities.

10:00 AM - Easter Egg Hunt at Berkey Church (Berkey Church, Windber) - Egg hunt, crafts, snacks, and storytime for kids up to 5th grade.

11:30 AM - Summit Johnstown Egg Hunt (650 Airport Rd, Johnstown) - Large community egg hunt with bounce houses, snacks, and music.

1:00 PM - 2026 Uzelac Gymnastics Easter Egg Hunt (445 Schoolhouse Rd, Johnstown) - Gym-hosted egg hunt with activities for kids; registration required.

6:00 PM - Line Dancing! (Jim & Jimmies, Johnstown) - Line dancing lessons followed by DJ and open dance.

6:00 PM - Harrigan’s Wine Deck (Harrigan’s Cafe & Wine Deck, Johnstown) - Acoustic live music on the wine deck.

7:00 PM - The Toths @ Jimmy T’s Pub (Jimmy T’s Pub, Johnstown) - Live acoustic performance from father-son duo The Toths.

7:00 PM - Unplugged Acoustic (Westwood Bar and Grill, Johnstown) - Acoustic rock hits from the 80s to today in a casual bar setting.

6:30 AM - Easter Sunrise Service (Richland Cemetery, Johnstown) - Sunrise Easter service with coffee, donuts, and community gathering.

10:30 AM - Easter Buffet (Seven Springs Resort, Seven Springs) - Large Easter buffet with carving stations, desserts, and family activities.

11:30 AM - Easter Buffet (Harrigan's Cafe & Wine Deck, Johnstown) - Easter brunch buffet with reservations recommended for families.
